IPSX announces new leadership

International Property Securities Exchange has appointed David Delaney as group chief executive officer and Roger Clarke as managing director and head of capital markets.

Founder Anthony Gahan is leaving his role as chairman to focus on the long-term strategy of the group.

IPSX will be the first regulated securities exchange for the initial public offering and trading of companies owning single commercial property assets.

It has announced a series of leadership appointments as it prepares for its first IPOs.

Delaney (pictured) was previously chief commercial officer at fintech communications company VoxSmart. Clarke joins from M7 Real Estate, where he was head of corporate finance.

Gahan will step away from the day-to-day business and will move into a director role. He will remain in the position until the group finds a non-executive chairman, which is expected by early autumn.

He said: “Having put in place the core infrastructure and secured the necessary regulatory approvals, we are now very well placed to contemplate the next phase of delivery and focus on further developing the IPSX proposition.”

Delaney said: “IPSX has been gaining tremendous traction in the past few months.

“Our discussions with leading players in the CRE market from private and sovereign wealth funds through to publicly quoted real estate companies and owner-occupiers demonstrates that IPSX fulfils a very real need for both capital raising and investment.”
