IPSX, a stock exchange on which commercial property owners can list individual assets, has appointed senior independent director Sir Brian Ivory as chairman.
He succeeds founding chairman Anthony Gahan, who has stepped down to become deputy chair.
Ivory is currently chairman of Marathon Asset Management and Arcus European Infrastructure Fund.
He is also on the board of Insight Investment Management and used to be chief executive and chairman of Highland Distillers.
Gahan said: “I have been privileged to lay the foundations for this ground-breaking market and am pleased to be passing the position of chairman to Sir Brian as we work towards welcoming the first issuers to the exchange.”
