The International Properties Securities Exchange (IPSX) Group has named David Delaney as a non-executive director.
Delaney is currently chief commercial officer at fintech firm Voxsmart. Before that, he worked at Thomson Reuters as head of strategic clients and solutions EMEA.
Previously, Delaney worked at Credit Suisse for 19 years, latterly as managing director and global head of fixed income sales for interest rates products.
He was also a member of its fixed income operating committee, as well as its global rates operating committee and the managing director election committee.
Anthony Gahan, founder and chairman of IPSX, said: “We will greatly value the experience and insights David brings, particularly of the fixed income markets, which are highly relevant to IPSX, and very much look forward to working with him.”
Delaney said he was joining “at an exciting stage in the development of its business, following the achievement of regulator recognition and with the impending launch of the first IPOs on the new exchange”.
He added: “IPSX is uniquely introducing a completely new and easier way of investing in commercial real estate in answering investor demands for greater access to the yields that these assets can deliver, via a liquid and regulated market.”
The Financial Conduct Authority approved the IPSX, which is the first regulated securities exchange dedicated to real estate, in January. (https://www.egi.co.uk/news/ipsx-gains-fca-approval/)
It is in talks with early potential issuers, including private equity real estate funds, sovereign wealth funds, quoted real estate groups and owner-occupiers.
