IPUT launches its own flex workspace offering

IPUT Real Estate, an Irish property investor with a Dublin office portfolio of some 2.4m sq ft, is launching its own flexible office offering.

The company said Making It Work will operate across its Dublin city centre offices and could ultimately account for 5% of its city portfolio. Space will be leased on flexible terms but will not include co-working space. Instead, the offering is targeting corporate tenants expected to take entire floors.

The business will launch at IPUT’s four-storey office building on Pearse Street. Two floors there have already been taken by Strava, the company behind a digital platform for athletes.

IPUT has named Simon McEvoy, who joined the company as a senior asset manager last September, as Making It Work lead.

Niall Gaffney, IPUT’s chief executive, said: “The demand for flexible leasing options is growing globally. Similar to leading international real estate players operating in cities around the world, we have identified the opportunity to develop our own platform in Dublin to attract, and incubate, high-growth occupiers within our portfolio.”
