IRL-UK, the property investment vehicle managed by Hillier Parker and Dublin-based Hamilton Osborne King, is looking to invest around £11m.
The fund is seeking buildings worth between £3m and £7m, and according to Hillier Parker’s Jonathan Hull, IRL-UK is considering expanding the overall size of the portfolio.
“Private investors are seeking high quality assets offering medium term capital growth, and have been impressed by the returns available in the UK market in comparison with those available in Ireland.” he added.
Since April when the fund was launched, it has acquired a Sainsuburys store at 102 High Street, Epsom, from Guinness for £5m, and the long leasehold on Lakeside Office Park near Chester for £4.05m.
