Soft drinks manufacturer AG Barr has taken 15,000 sq ft of office space at Orbit Developments’ Middlebrook scheme in Bolton.
The company, which makes Irn Bru and Tizer, has taken a 15-year lease at the scheme’s Mansell House for a sum close to the quoting rent of £14 per sq ft.
The three-storey, grade A building on Aspinall Close was completed in October.
The remainder of the 30,000 sq ft building is available.
Simon Clarke-Williams, director at Orbit, said: “We’re delighted to welcome AG Barr to Middlebrook, which has already attracted other high-profile tenants.”
Dunlop Heywood Lorenz advised Orbit in the deal.
Other occupiers at Middlebrook include the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Audit Commission.
In a separate deal, Orbit said photographic retailer Jessops had also signed up for space at Middlebrook.
It will occupy a 1,700 sq ft retail unit adjacent to Bolton FC’s Reebok Stadium, which forms part of the 200-acre Middlebrook site.
