Island Records has sold its 32-year home at 22 St Peters Square, W6, to architect Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands for £4.1m.
Lifschutz will convert most of the 22,500 sq ft building into an architectural studio.
Island Records’ parent company, Universal Music, will retain the basement studio, where artists including Bob Marley and U2 have recorded.
Frost & Partners advised the architect. GVA Grimley acted for Universal.
