Isle of Skye inhabitants claim the Skye road bridge constructed under PFI is damaging tourism because of the £5.70 charge each way to use it.
The Highlands of Scotland has been officially recognised as Britains most attractive area to visit, according to a survey conducted by Collins Road Atlases.
Devon took second place followed by Greater London, Argyll and Bute.
