IWG predicts tipping point for flexible offices after 2017 ‘challenges’

IWG, the world’s biggest serviced office company, struck a more confident tone in its 2018 outlook as it predicted a â”tipping point” for flexible workspaces, despite reporting a drop in profits last year.

The company formerly known as Regus, which runs offices in 3,125 locations, said that it experienced “improved revenue performance” in the fourth quarter of last year, which it said “provides a strong platform for growth in 2018.”

“Sales activity trends remain good and we anticipate improved revenue growth during the year,” the company said in its results for 2017.

The upbeat outlook prompted IWG to lift its dividend by 12%.
