IWG strikes out into private clubs in Battersea Power Station

Business members club No18, part of IWG, has taken 40,000 sq ft at Battersea Power Station, SW8.

It will create a “bespoke workspace offering” known as The Engine Room in the Power Station building, which will be the first UK space for No18 after deals in Sweden, the US and Switzerland.

The Engine Room will offer co-working space, offices and meeting rooms alongside an events venue.

Battersea Power Station offers more than 1m sq ft of commercial space, and over half of this has now been prelet, mainly through Apple taking 500,000 sq ft. Another 750,000 sq ft of offices will be available in future phases.

The retail and leisure space in the Power Station includes more than 100 shops and restaurants. It was launched in March and BPSDC says it is working closely with a number of brands.

Knight Frank advised BPSDC.
