J Trevor & Webster will close its Manchester office and consolidate its north-west operations in Liverpool.
Simon Hayes, regional director at JTW, said the company decided to base the operations in Liverpool because with 30 staff it was the biggest office. He added: “The property market is moving inexorably in the direction where you are either very large or offering a specialist niche service. This will give us the critical mass we need in the North West to compete.”
All 10 Manchester staff have been offered jobs in the Liverpool office.
