Jacadi and Lacoste in Knightsbridge moves

French childrenswear retailer Jacadi has taken a three-storey 3,000 sq ft store on Brompton Road, SW3, formerly occupied by Lacoste. And Lacoste has opened a global flagship nearby.


The SW3 store is Jacadi’s second UK store, where it has agreed to pay £325,000 pa with a headline zone A rent of £375 per sq ft.


Lacoste surrendered its lease on the Lancer Property-owned site in order to open a store at nearby 44 Brompton Road.


Lacoste’s 7,500 sq ft store is its largest in the world – twice the size of the fashion retailer’s store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The group is paying a headline zone A rent of £260 per sq ft, with the total annual rent amounting to £575,000.
