TH Real Estate has agreed a 10-year lease with Jacobs at 95 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, on behalf of Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate.
Jacobs has taken 15,000 sq ft of new space on the third floor of the building and renewed its existing leases on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors.
The global engineering firm now occupies a total of 62,088 sq ft in the eight-storey building.
The remaining 43,000 sq ft of available space will be refurbished and will come on the market in early 2018, with Ryden and JLL acting as agents.
Martin Payne, fund manager at TH Real Estate, said: “Faced with strong market competition, we are delighted to have secured Jacobs’ long-term commitment to 95 Bothwell Street.
“The prime location, large open-plan floor plate and competitive total occupational cost reaffirm the overall marketability of 95 Bothwell Street to major occupiers.”
