Jaguar Cars is going ahead with its plans to close its manufacturing plant at Brown’s Lane in Coventry.
Joe Greenwell, the company’s chief executive, made clear to a Commons committee that there would no reversal of the company’s decision to end 70 years of manufacturing at the plant.
Jaguar is switching production to its other plants at Castle Bromwich in Birmingham and Halewood.
Greenwell gave no details of the company’s plans for the site.
