International Group has instructed CBRE to advise on the sale of a historic hotel and golf resort that featured in the James Bond films Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies.
Stoke Park is a 49-room hotel with a spa and golf resort at Stoke Poges in Buckinghamshire where Sean Connery as James Bond went head to head with Goldfinger in the 1964 film.
Offers in excess of £75m will be sought for the property, which is owned by the King family.
Stoke Park recently received planning permission to build four villas and flats on the edge of the 300-acre estate.
A spokesman for International Group said: “Further to the receipt of several unsolicited approaches from interested parties we have appointed global property adviser CBRE to undertake a strategic review of the various sale options arising from this heightened level of investor interest.”
