The Jamie Oliver Group plans to close 12 Jamie’s Italian restaurants and seek rent reductions on a further eight as part of a CVA.
Alix Partners has been instructed to handle the CVA process, which will see a rent reduction of 30% on the eight restaurants.
According to The Times, the sites that are closing include restaurants in Bluewater, Kent; Bath; Bristol; and London.
Jamie’s Italian was founded in 2008 and now has 35 sites in the UK.
Creditors have until 9 February to vote on the proposals.
