Jamie Oliver signs at King’s Cross

Fish + Coal, King's Cross 570p

Jamie Oliver Group has signed an agreement to lease 17,500 sq ft in King’s Cross, London.

The chef and campaigner’s firm will open a new Jamie Oliver pub and restaurant in the site previously occupied by Fish & Coal on Regent’s canal.

Camden council has approved detailed plans for restoration of the building, with the new store set to open in 2016.

The western end of the building will be converted into a pub. The upper floors will become the ‘Creative Centre’ for the Jamie Oliver Group, while the lower-level arches will form part of a new restaurant.

Lunson Mitchenall advised KCCLP Partnership on the deal.
