The Japan Centre, a Japanese food and retail provider that supplies the Shoryu Ramen restaurant chain, has taken a 56,711 sq ft unit at SEGRO’s Premier Park, Park Royal, in west London.
The supplier has taken a 20-year lease on Unit B for its new UK HQ, which will be used for a range of activities, including offices, warehousing, distribution and hot kitchens for food preparation.
The Japan Centre will be relocating from its current base at SEGRO’s Victoria Industrial Estate, where it occupies 35,000 sq ft across seven units.
The deal means Premier Park is now fully let. Other tenants include Royal Mail and DHL.
Tak Tokumine, chief executive, Japan Centre and Shoryu Ramen, said: “We could not have grown our business in this way without the support and assistance of SEGRO.
“Since 2010 we have leased various unit from SEGRO and now we have relocated to new bespoke warehousing, kitchen and online facilities at Premier Park, Park Royal.”
