A shareholder revolt over boardroom pay has forced JD Sports Fashion to launch a review of its corporate governance.
The sportswear retailer said that in light of the rebellion and its recent elevation into the FTSE 100 index of leading shares, it was “an appropriate time” to review its practices, including pay. As part of its review, it would talk to shareholders.
