Fashion retailer Jeffrey Rogers has taken two units in outlet malls operated by shoe group Clarks. At Clarks Village in Street, Somerset, Jeffrey Rogers has taken a five-year lease on the 222 sq m (2,388 sq ft) unit formerly occupied by The Pier, bringing the total number of traders in the centre to 37. All leases at Clarks Village are on turnover rents.
Jeffrey Rogers has also taken a pre-letting on a unit at the new Lakeside factory shopping centre in Doncaster, which is due to be completed in June 1996. The centre is being developed by Clarks and RAM Eurocentres. Jeffrey Rogers has taken 292 sq m (3,145 sq ft) on a ten-year lease with a base rent of £161.46 per sq m (£15 per sq ft) and a turnover rent on top.
