JLL has recruited Raoul Veevers from Cluttons to lead its London planning team.
Veevers will join the agent as head of London planning, having held the same role at Cluttons for nearly two years. Before that he spent 20 years at Montagu Evans, where he developed its London planning team as a partner at the firm.
During his career, Veevers has advised public sector bodies, institutional funds, registered providers, private landowners and developers. These included Linkcity Bouygues, Great Portland Estates, Hammerson, Barratt London, Unite, Lewisham Homes, Clarion and CBRE IM on a range of projects, including Hallsville Quarter Canning Town, The Home Office, RHS Wisely, 60 Threadneedle Street, and Vauxhall Island.
His most recent client experience at Cluttons included working with numerous investment funds and charitable organisations.
At JLL, Veevers will work with clients to provide expert planning advice as a core part of its end-to-end consulting services throughout the property lifecycle.
Andrew Frost, head of capital markets at JLL, said: “Raoul’s appointment reaffirms our intention to continue to build a leading planning capability. His experience coupled with our own means we are well positioned to advise a breadth of clients on a diverse range of planning issues, from major regeneration to complex London-based development sites.
“Furthermore, aligning our planning capability with our other land and development consulting services means we’re continuing to support our clients with today’s challenges and opportunities, from emerging legislation and regeneration through to asset repositioning.”
