JLL has appointed Emma Hoskyn as its new head of sustainability for the UK.
Hoskyn joined JLL in 2007, starting in the Upstream sustainability consulting team before moving into the central sustainability team, where she has spent the last two years as head of sustainable client solutions. She will sit on the UK board to ensure that JLL’s sustainability agenda remains core to its decision-making and business strategy.
As part of her appointment Hoskyn will lead JLL’s commercial and corporate sustainability agendas, working with the growing team of more than 100 sustainability professionals across the business.
JLL’s UK chief executive Stephanie Hyde said: “Sustainability is one of the most business critical issues for our clients and Emma’s appointment is an excellent opportunity for us to build on our 20-year sustainability heritage and support our clients with innovative, holistic solutions. She is highly experienced, respected in the industry and has played an important role in our business over the years to integrate sustainability into what JLL does and how we do it.”
Hoskyn said she was looking forward to taking on the role. “Now more than ever, we’re looking beyond words to action as we focus on returns that encompass economic, environmental and social value.”
