JLL has hired Simon Griffin from GL Hearn to lead its occupier rating team in the UK.
Griffin, who is based in London, will also be the account lead for a key financial services contract, which is understood to be with Barclays.
GL Hearn had previously hired Griffin in 2014, where he was tasked with establishing an office in Cheltenham.
He also spent several years as a senior director at DTZ and before that as an equity partner at Donaldsons.
Tim Beattie, head of UK rating at JLL, said: “Simon has a wealth of rating experience across all sectors and is well known in the industry, having recently been elected to the committee of the Rating Surveyors’ Association by his peers.”
