JLL has named Alexander Nuyken as head of life sciences markets in EMEA.
The move follows the recent appointments of Alistair Meadows as head of life sciences, capital markets EMEA, and Andy Glasspool as head of life sciences accounts for EMEA work dynamics.
The trio will focus on the delivery of JLL’s life sciences offering for investors and corporate occupier clients in the region.
Nuyken (pictured) is the former head of Europe, Middle East, India and Africa life sciences strategy and transactions at Ernst & Young, where he led portfolio strategy assignments and M&A projects. Prior to that, he worked in M&A investment banking, most recently at UBS, leading clients in the pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical technology sectors.
Andy Poppink, chief executive of EMEA markets at JLL, said: “Life sciences industry momentum has been building. With the strong market in the UK as validation, our clients are now looking at the broader EMEA region as an opportunity and priority.”
JLL’s wider life sciences team also includes Chris Walters, head of life sciences in the UK, Travis McCready, head of life sciences markets in the Americas, and Roger Humphrey, division president of life sciences in the Americas for Work Dynamics.
