JLL City director Perkins leaves to set up consultancy

Jones Lang LaSalle director Rupert Perkins is to leave the company to set up his own consultancy.

Perkins established a reputation at King Sturge as a widely respected City leasing agent working under Mark Bourne.

A JLL spokesman said: “Jones Lang LaSalle confirms that Rupert has decided to establish his own consultancy business and has left the firm by agreement and with our best wishes. We look forward to working with Rupert in the future and are already jointly involved on a couple of projects in the City.”

Perkins left Chesterton as a top fee-earner in 2002 to join King Sturge, where he was head of City agency. Bourne was Perkins’ former boss at Chesterton before he left to join King Sturge in 1998.

Perkins has developed a bank of high-profile clients in the City and Canary Wharf, many of which he is expected to continue to work with at his new consultancy.
