JLL has named Pioneer Group director Suketu Shah as head of life sciences for property asset management in a move to further strengthen its life sciences portfolio.
In this newly created role, Shah will be charged with further strengthening the company’s life sciences property management services, focusing on driving business development initiatives, enhancing client relationships and ensuring exemplary service delivery.
At Pioneer Group Shah served as director of Nottingham assets, overseeing 300,000 sq ft of labs and office space across five buildings. Almost three years in the role, he increased occupancy levels by more than 85% and provided a work environment and ecosystem for more than 100 companies.
Colin Curnow, head of consulting for property and asset management at JLL, said: “Suketu’s strategic mindset, commercial acumen and extensive experience in the life sciences sector make him the ideal candidate to lead our life sciences property management initiatives. We are confident that he will contribute to further expanding our life sciences portfolio.”
