JLL hires CBRE’s former facilities head to run Integral

JLL has hired Peter Jones to head its engineering and facilities services business.

Jones will succeed Yash Kapila as managing director of Integral with effect from today.

Integral, which has more than 3,000 staff across the UK, provides a broad scope of mechanical and electrical property maintenance, including mobile engineering, fire and life safety, air conditioning and gas services, critical environment management, specialist project works and cleaning services.

Jones will be based in London and will lead the business’s focus on offering digital solutions, energy optimisation and risk-based asset management to owners, managers and occupiers.

Jones joins from NG Bailey, an independent engineering, rail, IT and facilities services company. Prior to that he worked for CBRE as executive director and head of facilities management EMEA, before joining G4S as managing director for facilities management UK and Ireland. His earlier career included senior management roles at Carillion, Barclays Bank and Johnson Controls.
