JLL has boosted its residential property management offering with the appointment of John Coddington (pictured) as head of residential for its Property and Asset Management team.
Coddington’s role at JLL will involve leading the definition of PAM’s residential management strategy, providing clients with bespoke residential management solutions, advising on a wide spectrum of residential management matters and championing a best-in-class service for the company’s clients and customers.
He joins from CBRE, where he was head of residential and led residential block and AST portfolio management services for clients including Shaftesbury.
Prior to CBRE, Coddington was an asset manager at Lendlease and was responsible for the overall management of Elephant Park, a large mixed-use development for which he developed the overall operating and asset management strategy.
Jordan Jeffery, chief operating officer and deputy head of property and asset management at JLL, said: “John’s appointment is a key hire for the UK JLL Property and Asset Management business. We see residential as a key sector for our clients as they diversify their portfolios, and John will therefore ensure we can deliver best-in-class residential management services alongside our wider commercial property management service.”
Coddington added: “I am passionate about leading teams that create communities through exceptional customer experience and am looking forward to steering clients through upcoming changes in legislation and other industry challenges.”
