JLL has expanded its UK life sciences team with the appointment of Richard Cairnes as head of project and development services.
Cairnes joins from construction and cost management consultancy Currie & Brown where he led the London and South East pharmaceutical and life science team. He has managed projects involving high-containment laboratories, clean rooms, GMP and research and development for clients across central government departments, research institutes, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and universities.
In his new role, Cairnes will lead the national team to deliver value from built assets to JLL’s science and technology clients.
