JLL/KS: more world deals for JLL

Jones Lang LaSalle would consider further acquisitions to bolster its service offering across the world.

JLL’s EMEA chairman Christian Ulbrich told EG this morning: “We expect consolidation of the market to continue and cannot rule anything out at this period of time.”

And Ulbrich was frank about the significance of the King Sturge deal in relation to JLL’s overall size. The firm employs 30,000 people in 750 locations in 60 countries and Ulbrich said: “It doesn’t change the game for the global firm but it’s important.”

The firm’s sees growth in Europe, he said, despite challenges currently gripping many markets on the continent: “The fact that the company decided to make such an important investment is a strong statement. It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen our footprint here.”
