Jones Lang LaSalle has launched an international desk within its corporate solutions department.
The company said that the French iDesk would bring together its global platform of information, resources and tools across 70 countries into a local service in France.
According to JLL, the new desk will help French corporates expand globally as they target markets such as Africa, Brazil, China and India as a result of the eurozone crisis.
“Conditions in France and Europe over the past 18 months have been challenging,” said Vincent Lottefier, JLL’s chief executive officer for corporate solutions in the EMEA region.
“Many are now accelerating their global expansion journey. However, moving outside of traditional areas of western Europe is a greater challenge and carries more financial and operational risk.”
