It was another good year in the Edinburgh office market, according to Radius Data Exchange.
While the total space let between March 2018 and February 2019 was down by around 9% to 810,536 sq ft, this is in comparison with a bumper 2018 when figures were boosted by a 180,000 sq ft prelet to the Government Property Unit at New Waverley.
Top of the Radius Data Exchange league table for the city is JLL – its seventh year dominating the disposals chart. It completed 41 deals, with 374,923 sq ft of offices disposed – a 46% market share.
The largest deal was 61,000 sq ft prelet to Baillie Gifford at The Mint Building on West Register Street. JLL and Cuthbert White advised landlord Chris Stewart Group; Ryden and Shepherd Commercial represented the tenant.
