JLL London industrial head steps down

Tim Johnson, head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s London industrial and logistics team, is to step down from the firm at the end of October.

He has worked for JLL for nearly 30 years, following King & Co’s merger with the firm.

Clients Johnson has worked with include Prologis, Royal Mail, Gazeley and DP World.

Andy Harding, currently a director in the industrial team, will step up to become head of the London team.

Cameron Mitchell and Richard Evans will continue to jointly head the UK logistics business.

JLL EMEA industrial head Phil Marsden said: “During Tim’s tenure we have built a market-leading team with the experience and connections to be trusted to act on the UK’s most significant schemes. The industrial and logistics market is going through significant change with e-commerce, pressure on supply and economic uncertainty all having an impact. Tim leaves us in a great position to enable our clients to navigate this changing world. We thank him for all of his hard work over the years and wish him all the best for the future.”

Johnson added: “I have immensely enjoyed my career with the firm and am proud to be leaving at such a high point. My departure has been planned for some time so l can take time out, but I am confident that the development of our occupier service specialism, our strong research offering and the teams market knowledge will ensure that under Andy’s leadership, the team will continue to grow and prosper.”
