JLL has made two hires in its science and innovation agency team.
Will Heigham joins as a director from COREP, where he focused on tenant representation and acted as life sciences real estate adviser. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the property industry, having previously worked for Bidwells, JLL and CBRE.
Joe Metliss has also joined the team as surveyor. He comes from Newsteer Real Estate Advisers, where he served for the past three years.
The pair will join Chris Valentine, head of science and innovation at JLL, to provide strategic leasing and acquisition advice for life sciences clients and those with specialist technology needs.
Valentine said: “Science and technology are critical key economic drivers across the UK and JLL has been at the forefront of delivering real estate solutions for this industry. Working with our capital markets and work dynamics colleagues we deliver data-driven insights through global sector expertise to add value to our client’s businesses.”
The new appointments come after life sciences specialist Chris Walters left JLL late last year to join Pioneer Group.
