JLL names new head of City investment team

JLL has promoted Rob Jackson as the new head of its City investment in London.

Jackson joined JLL’s City capital markets team as a director in 2011, from Lambert Smith Hampton.

He recently worked on transactions including the £250m-plus acquisition of Southbank Central on behalf of Starwood, and the sale of Aldgate House for Hermes Investment Management and CPPIB.

Jackson’s promotion follows the recruitment of Thurstan Guthrie-Brown from BH2 and Fraser Campbell-Wilson from BNP Paribas Real Estate, who will join the JLL’s City investment team in the autumn.

Julian Sandbach, head of London capital markets at JLL, said: “Central London remains the world’s most dynamic office market, and the City of London is able to offer unparalleled investment opportunities. Utilising and promoting the talent effectively within our existing team, as well as recruiting the market’s brightest stars, is fundamental to the continued success of our team.

“Rob, Thurstan and Fraser have all enjoyed highly successful careers to date; they have been involved in many of the signature transactions across the capital and are recognised as talented and respected agents. Rob’s leadership and the arrival of Thurstan and Fraser will compliment an already successful investment team in the City, adding to our broad domestic and international client offer.”
