JLL has appointed Claire Macken as head of UK commercial valuation advisory.
Having joined JLL as a graduate in 2007, Macken was most recently head of investor clients for its UK commercial valuation advisory team.
She succeeds Ollie Saunders in the role, who has become head of alternatives, valuation advisory, EMEA at the agency.
Macken will lead a 140-strong team at the firm. During her tenure at JLL, Macken has worked in its capital markets and leasing teams for clients including British Land and Hammerson.
Sha has also been involved in the RICS review of real estate investment valuations, which takes effect in April next year.
Macken said: “Comprehensive valuation advice has never been so important for our clients, who trust us to have deep-rooted knowledge of their sectors in order to generate mark to market valuations.
