JLL has named workplace experience platform HqO as its preferred provider as part of a new global licensing deal.
Following JLL’s investment in HqO’s Series C funding round in 2021, the strategic partnership between the two businesses has been strengthened by this latest announcement which has also seen HqO acquire hybrid workplace app JLL Jet.
As part of the deal, JLL has made an additional investment in HqO through its JLL Spark Global Venture Fund, increasing its ownership and appointing Yishai Lerner, co-chief executive of JLL Technologies, as a board member at HqO.
Lerner said: “HqO is committed to not only transforming the modern office, but also transforming how people engage with each other within it. We’ve long trusted HqO as a strategic partner to deliver the best technology to enhance the workplace experience. With the acquisition of JLL Jet, HqO will strengthen its offerings for our customers and this category as a whole.”
Chase Garbarino, co-founder and chief executive at HqO (pictured), added: “As the preferred provider of workplace experience solutions for JLL, we can ensure our clients have a complete and fulfilling workplace experience, driven by rich data and best-in-class technology.”
