JLL has promoted Giles Weir to head of strategic occupier solutions.
Weir will support the growth of JLL’s industrial and logistics business, leading the dedicated tenant representation team and working closely alongside the business development and supply chain teams.
Melinda Cross, head of UK industrial and logistics at JLL, said: “Giles’s extensive experience, supporting our clients in their real estate strategies will be invaluable as he leads our strategic occupier solutions team.”
Weir has been head of JLL’s Bristol industrial and logistics team for the past nine years.
Weir said: “Since the beginning of 2023 we have been mandated to acquire over 4m sq ft for our clients, and I look forward to continuing to help our clients achieve their goals through our comprehensive services.”
