JLL reopens offices

JLL has reopened UK offices from today, after more than two months in lockdown during the pandemic.

It has reopened a number of offices in London, Manchester and Norwich, as part of a phased reopening, to provide a base for agents in between site visits.

This includes its London West End and City offices at Warwick Street and Walbrook.

However, it said many employees will continue to work from home and carry out inspections without an office base.

JLL shut its London offices on 16 March, after two employees tested positive for Covid-19. It subsequently rolled out UK-wide remote working.

A spokesman said: “The health and wellbeing of our colleagues remains our top priority, and we have worked hard to prepare for a safe and phased re-occupation of our UK offices.

“The re-entry policies and procedures we have put in place are aligned with current government advice and, in this initial phase, focus on supporting critical workers who are unable to work from home.

“We will adhere to strict social distancing and all other health and safety guidance provided by the government and RICS.”
