JLL’s James Hamilton Stubber to be Quintain’s COO

Quintain Estates & Development has appointed James Hamilton Stubber, national director of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), as chief operating officer with effect from 14 October.

Stubber will manage Quintain’s day-to-day operational activities, concentrating on the investment portfolio and administration, while reporting to chief executive Adrian Wyatt.

At JLL, Stubber currently leads the specialised transaction services team which focuses on developing advisory-led transaction businesses for the firm.

He has been responsible for regular valuations of portfolios belonging to MEPC, Hammerson, Grainger Trust and Quintain.

Nigel Ellis, chairman of Quintain, said: “He has considerable property advisory experience across a wide range of disciplines and an extensive management background with strong operational skills.”

Stubber is also a director of his family-run company Stubber Securities.
