JLL to close UK planning department

JLL is set to close its UK planning division, putting all workers in the team at risk of redundancy. The consultation is likely to impact at least 25 planning-specific roles, according to analysis of positions on JLL’s website. The division is led by Raoul Veevers, head of planning for the UK, who joined from Cluttons in 2022 as head of London planning, and who earlier in his career spent more than 20 years at Montagu Evans.   A spokesperson for JLL told Estates Gazette: “We are always reviewing our business to ensure that the delivery of our services meets our strategic priorities and client needs. This has resulted in the difficult but necessary decision to propose that some roles within the business could be made redundant. We have strong leadership and teams, and remain confident in our ability to deliver continued value for our clients in the market.” Image: ©Estates Gazette
