JLL’s UK head of sustainability Sophie Walker has left the firm for a new role at investment firm EQT Group.
Walker has joined EQT as head of sustainability for private capital.
She worked at JLL for nearly 14 years. She was promoted to head of sustainability in 2015, and latterly served as a board member for the UK arm.
Her responsibilities for the UK business included sustainability commercialisation, public affairs and the agency’s “Building a Better Tomorrow” programme. The latter was initially created for the UK business and has since been adopted across its global operations.
Walker also oversaw the firm’s 2030 net zero carbon commitment and achievement of its 2020 UK targets.
