JLL’s Jeffrey Davis has joined Eastdil Secured as managing director.
Davis will help lead and grow the global real estate investment bank’s global hospitality group, with a particular focus on the eastern US.
In 2022, the firm completed more than $18bn of global hospitality and lodging-related sales, joint ventures, financings and M&A-related transactions.
Davis worked at JLL for 18 years, rising to senior managing director and head of all full-service hotel investment sales in the Americas. He transacted and advised on more than $50bn of transactions, including the Boca Resort and, most recently, the Diplomat Beach Resort in Florida, two of the largest single-asset transactions in the US.
Prior to joining JLL, Davis was vice president of asset management and business development for Ian Schrager at Morgans Hotel Group and a real estate investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney.
Eastil managing director Louis Stervinou said: “Lodging continues to be a favored asset class globally, and we have seen a dramatic increase in capital allocations across the sector.
“This strategic hire has a multiplier effect that will only enhance our ability to service our clients in this unique and important sector of the commercial real estate markets.”
