Joe Guilfoyle, JLL’s head of corporate transactions for alternatives, has been poached by Savills.
Guilfoyle is to join Savills as a director in its residential capital markets team. Led by Peter Allen, the team has advised on £10bn of deals in the past two years.
In his new role Guilfoyle will focus on student accommodation and multifamily housing after a period of gardening leave.
He had been at JLL for nine years, having previously been an associate director at Deloitte. JLL is to announce an expansion of its alternatives team in the near future.
