John Dodd, a director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate solutions team and adviser to Deutsche Bank, is leaving the business to become head of real estate at AECOM.
Dodd, who has been with JLL since May 2011, will begin his role as head of real estate EMEA at the global consultancy on 13 January 2014.
His role at JLL comprises providing Deutsche Bank UK, Middle East and Africa with strategic portfolio management, transaction management and lease administration services.
Bob Pell, who leads corporate services for AECOM EMEA, said: “We are delighted that John is joining us. He has experience as a senior real estate professional with more than 20 years’ international experience in the corporate real estate industry, leading and developing facilities management and real estate teams, and he has successfully delivered real estate projects across the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.”
Tom Bayne-Jardine, lead director, UK corporate solutions at JLL, added: “We would take the opportunity to thank him (Dodd) for his achievements, and to wish him the best for his new venture.”
Previously Dodd has worked at Macquarie Bank as director, corporate real estate. He also spent seven years at Citigroup in London and Australia from 2002, and was head of planning and design EMEA for Merrill Lynch from 1999-2002.
