John Laing clinches Milton Keynes industrial park prelet

John Laing Property (JLP) has prelet a 10,550 sq m (113,561 sq ft) unit to Culina Logistics at its 16,340 sq m (175,883 sq ft) industrial scheme in Whitehall Avenue, Kingston. The deal is one of the largest industrial lettings in Milton Keynes this year.

Culina Logistics, the warehousing and distribution company for German yoghurt giant, Muller, has taken a 15-year lease with five-yearly reviews at a rent of £58 per sq m (£5.40 per sq ft).

The unit, which is situated on the junction of Standing Way and the A5130, is due for completion in December 2000. A 5,792 sq m (62,322 sq ft) unit is still available at the scheme.

Nigel Turner of JLP said: “The letting to Culina justifies our decision to develop speculatively.”

King Sturge and Weatherall Green & Smith are letting agents for the scheme. Insignia Richard Ellis acted for the tenant.
