John Laing is to take 25,000 sq ft at UK & European Investments’ 1 Kingsway, WC2.
A lease for the construction firm to take two floors at around £65 per sq ft is understood to be under offer.
The deal would leave 55,000 sq ft of the 105,000 sq ft of grade-A offices still to be let. Tenants already signed up include Tate & Lyle, which has taken the top two floors on a 15-year lease at £67.50 per sq ft.
Jones Lang LaSalle and Farebrother represent UK & European, but neither would comment on the John Laing deal. JLL also advised Tate & Lyle.
