John Lewis has hired a turnaround specialist as its new boss.
Pippa Wicks has been poached from the Co-operative Group, succeeding Paula Nickolds who was pushed out last year.
The Co-op originally hired Wicks as an £8,000 per day consultant, before installing her as interim COO and then deputy chief executive.
The mixed-use scheme is expected to support 2,500 jobs once complete
The site holds hybrid planning consent for 1,493 homes, 475 hotel beds and 31,000 sq ft of commercial space
