Rushbond Group and Swan Hill plan to redevelop the former Tetley’s brewery site at Butlers Wharf in Leeds as a 46,450 sq m (500,000 sq ft) mixed-use urban village.
Local developer Rushbond and Swan Hill have formed a joint venture called Brewery Wharf (Leeds) to build the £50m scheme on the 2ha (5 acre) brownfield site by the river Aire.
A decision on outline consent for the proposals, which comprise about 300 flats, offices, restaurants, bars, a fitness centre and hotel, is due early next month.
