Kingspark Developments and Nottingham textile company AC Gill are to develop 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) of offices on Warser Gate in Nottingham city centre. The site – known as the Lace Market – is currently occupied by AC Gill’s lace making factory. Detailed planning consent already exists for office development.
The scheme – to be known as Archer Gate – will be available in units of 3,066 sq m (33,000 sq ft) upwards. The scheme will also provide 129 parking spaces. Once completed, the development is expected to have an investment value of £15m.
Archer Gate is unlikely to be built on a speculative basis. Letting agents Healey & Baker and Lambert Smith Hampton are seeking pre-lets.
